Well, well: some actually got Beck’s numbers right

It appears I owe some (emphasize some) in the drive-by media an apology: a couple of sources put Beck’s crowd at 300,000, which is at least the lowerbound estimate of what he said he had (and he did pay for an accurate crowd count, although I have yet to learn the details of how he arrived at this figure). But then there were the other drive-by outlets that reported the crowd as “85,000.” Really. They must think the American public is blind as well as stupid. The most cursory look at that crowd from an aerial view shows a LOT more than 85,000. Course, an aerial view of the “Rev.” Sharpton’s counter rally would . . . well, you wouldn’t see it, would you?
